Jujutsu Zero Gear Guide: Sets, Upgrades and Ascension
Gear Is the Backbone
Gear in Jujutsu Zero isn’t cosmetic — it is the stat backbone that decides whether raids are farmable or a wipe-fest.
Where Gear Comes From
Most high-tier pieces come from three loops:
| Source | What it gives |
|---|---|
| Raids | Set pieces tied to specific bosses — see the Raids guide |
| Crates | Random rolls including weapon materials (same routes as Inverted Fragment farming) |
| Event shops | Rotating stock bought with Cursed Crystals |
Upgrading and Ascension
Gear scales through upgrades and an ascension layer for pushing damage limits. Upgrade currency and materials come from the map’s farming zones (Map guide); don’t spread materials across pieces you’ll replace — pick the endgame set for your build and funnel everything into it.
Matching Gear to Build
Gear multiplies what clans and techniques already do: crit gear on a Kashimo build, cooldown pieces on Zenin, balanced lines on Hakari. Set your foundation on the Clan Tier List first.
