Jujutsu Zero Beginner Guide: Clans, Techniques and Your First Rolls
Start With the Codes
Before you roll anything, redeem every active code — they front-load thousands of Lumens plus Cursed Crystals and Clan Rolls. The current verified list is on our Codes page. Codes are case-sensitive; paste them exactly.
How Progression Works
Jujutsu Zero is a JJK-inspired action RPG by Studio Resonance. Your power comes from three stacked layers:
- Clan — rolled with Clan Rolls; gives passive stat bonuses (ATK, Crit, CDR, HP and more).
- Cursed Technique — pulled with Lumens on rotating banners; your active kit.
- Weapons and accessories — amplify the first two layers.
Matching a clan with its canon technique (Gojo + Limitless, Sukuna + Malevolent Shrine) adds extra synergy stats on top of the base bonuses.
Roll Economy and Pity
- Clan rolls: 175 Lumens each (regular). Pity guarantees at least a Grade 1 clan within 75 rolls (~13,125 Lumens). Special rolls cost 375 Lumens.
- Technique spins: 350 Lumens each. Grade 1 pity at 30 summons; Special Grade pity at 175 summons (61,250 Lumens). Pity banners raise Special-Grade odds to 50%.
- Weekend bonus: overall roll luck is boosted (~+30%) on weekends — save your currency and roll then.
What to Aim For
Check the Clan Tier List and Best Techniques before spending. Short version: Hakari or Kashimo are the premier clans, and Special-Grade techniques (Beast Amber, Disaster Tides, Malevolent Shrine) define the meta. Don’t burn Lumens on off-banner spins — wait for a banner featuring the technique you want.
Common Early Mistakes
- Rolling clans one at a time on weekdays instead of batching on a weekend.
- Equipping a Special-Grade technique on a mismatched clan and losing the synergy bonus.
- Ignoring quests — they’re a steady source of free Clan Rolls.
